Danny Murphy tips Liverpool to sign West Ham United star Declan Rice

Danny Murphy has asked Liverpool to sign West Ham star man Declan Rice in the mid year move window after their loss in the Champions League last.

Jurgen Klopp's side tumbled to a 1-0 loss in Paris on Saturday [May 28] and regardless of missing an index of opportunities of a lifetime - the previous Reds pro accepts the midfield is the issue.

The BBC savant has encouraged the Anfield outfit to sign local abilities, for example, Rice and Kalvin Phillips to gain from England bad habit commander Jordan Henderson - with the Hammers man confronting an unsure future at the club having turned down his fourth new agreement [Sky Sports].

Murphy wrote in the Daily Mail: “I don’t know if either is affordable but a young and hungry top English midfielder like Declan Rice or Kalvin Phillips would surely be of interest if they became available because they’d be able to come and learn off Henderson and be a useful part of the team for years.”

However, Liverpool simply won’t splash the cash for him which makes the £150million price tag that has been put on his head by the Hammers very smart.

Rice is exceptionally far-fetched to leave in the late spring and assuming he does, it is extremely suspicious that Anfield will be the objective.

If he somehow happened to leave the Irons, this is a move you could see however with the quality and desire of the Reds basically the same as that of Rice.

Notwithstanding, Liverpool essentially won't sprinkle the money for him which makes the £150million sticker price that has been placed on his head by the Hammers exceptionally brilliant.

This is a much more realistic option and one that hopefully doesn’t happen.

They probably realize that no club would pay that much for Rice, it was simply to keep him and ideally, it works.

One club that might want to spend large cash on the midfielder is Chelsea. Under new possession, they will have a £200million "stash" to enjoy in the late spring with the 23-year-old not being governed out of a move, as per GIVEMESPORT.

This is a considerably more reasonable choice and one that ideally doesn't occur.
