Robert Lewandowski said on Monday that his experience with Bayern Munich was finished, without determining his tentative arrangements, in the midst of reports that Barcelona have made him a proposition.
"Today it is sure that my story with Bayern has reached a conclusion," the Polish star striker told columnists in Warsaw.
"I can't envision further collaboration, after what has occurred throughout recent months," he added.
"An exchange will be the best arrangement. I believe that Bayern won't stop me, since they can."
With a year left on Lewandowski's agreement, Barcelona have supposedly made a proposal of 32 million euros ($34.5 million) to sign him.
In a meeting with Polish telecaster Eleven Sports PL, Lewandowski dropped a mystery about how he would appreciate living in Spain.
"I believe it's a great spot - - not simply to go on vacation there," he said, adding that he has a house in Mallorca.
Bayern CEO Oliver Khan and overseer of sports Hasan Salihamidzic have both publically expressed the club won't allow Lewandowski to leave before 2023.
Recently, Lewandowski's representative Pini Zahavi cautioned Bayern against demanding the agreement.
"Obviously they can save Robert for one more year, to be fair he has an agreement until 2023, yet I wouldn't prescribe that to them," Zahavi told German day to day Bild.
He added that the issue for Lewandowski isn't about additional cash.
"He has felt affronted by those in control (at Bayern) for a really long time, that is reality.
"FC Bayern has not lost Lewandowski the player, but rather Robert the individual."
Zahavi said he trusts Bayern's senior figures "will consider it in the future" and permit Lewandowski the open door "to satisfy a long lasting dream and move to the club (Barcelona) he has consistently longed for."
