Asamoah Gyan, the former Black Stars captain has reached a controversial argument on social media after his interview on SomaFM at Kumasi when he revealed that he has never taking in an alcohol before which is in contract worth popular opinions that many people allege that he drinks and smokes. When speaking to the hosts of sompan FM at Kumasi the former Sunderland player and also Black Stars captain made it clear that many think about him and others just allege for clarity and defamation that he drinks and take in alcohol but, his tongue has never tasted and alcohol before.
In the interview, he made it clear that though many trace his early out from national team to the fact that he smokes that's why he's weak at early age and also drinks alcohol, but he said no, he's still strong and can deliver when called for national duty.
He made it clear that the only stimulant that has entered his system is shisha that was even a smoke that enters the body when he was with his boys however, he has personally not taking in a smoke or alcohol before
He said "I have never drank alcohol in my entire life I don't drink alcohol and I don't smoke marijuana too the only thing I have smoked in my life is a shisha"
The footballer also talked a bit about his newly launched book which he said the book is to serve as a template for those who like him who want to be like him and has set him up as a role model.
He made it clear that the book contains content about motivational factors and other aspirational point that has brought him to where he is now and will be a good example for those who will be like him.
