All the 16 Regional Houses of Chiefs in this country are a creature of the National House of Chiefs and are thus under the National House of Chiefs.
The National House of Chiefs, the state mandated institution to adjudicate over Chieftaincy disputes according to the 1992 constitution gave a ruling on the Bawku Chieftaincy disputes in 1983 and that ruling is still binding till date.
No other Regional House of Chiefs, Court, any state institution or even the President of this country has the power to overturn that ruling. Bawku is for Mamprusi and the Nayiri is the only King with the legal right to enskin a Bawku-Naaba. So any person parading himself as a Bawku-Naaba without being enskined by the Nayiri is a WALKING ILLEGALITY.
