One of the things that annoys me the most, is the fact that our players don't have the passion our club deserves. At first, I figured it was because many of the players weren't raised in Barca, in La Masía, but I've come to realise that even the likes of Moriba and now Gavi seem to lack the interest of the club.
Besides, just look at Real Madrid's players. Vinicius has the same exact salary as he got when he first came to Real Madrid - close to the minimum. And now, he will get what Real Madrid think he deserves - not what he himself thinks he deserves.
Dembele was injured for 3 seasons in a row - and we fans kept SUPPORTING him. Now, that he seems injury-free and actually performing, he wants to LEAVE!
Federico Valverde sits on the bench most matches, but when he comes on or starts, he DELIVERS. With no questions asked. AND, he doesn't earn near what our players on that level do. PASSION.
Rodrygo is the same case as Vinicius and Valverde. He has the same salary he was offered when he first came to the club - and as well as Valverde, he is a rotation player. But no matter how good he performs, he doesn't ask questions about his role in the squad, and nor does he ask for a salary-raise.
Our players ask for HUGE salaries even though they are fully aware of our sh*tty financial situation. Real Madrid's players ask for nothing but the pride of wearing the club's badge on their chest - even though the club actually has the finances to give much higher salaries than their current ones.
I'm really wondering what's going on with our club. It's insane.
