'Robin Hood' is a fictional character. After Kylian Mbappe's snub of Real Madrid, Javier Tebas takes aim at PSG AGAIN, accusing the French champions of 'killing European football.'

The war of words between the Spanish and French leagues has escalated after Kylian Mbappe turned down a new deal with Paris Saint-Germain from Real Madrid.

PSG has been accused of 'damaging football's ecosystem,' according to LaLiga president Javier Tebas.

He also alleged that the financial metrics for the French champs did not add up.

Tebas is preparing a claim against PSG, which he will submit to UEFA soon. Javier Tebas has reacted angrily to Kylian Mbappe's decision to sign a lucrative new contract with Paris Saint-Germain over Real Madrid.

As he prepares to file a complaint with UEFA over Mbappe's contract renewal, the Spanish league head compared himself to "Robin Hood" and questioned PSG's financial records.

In his latest tirade, Tebas accused PSG of 'killing the ecosystem of European football' after the French striker committed to a three-year contract worth £650,000 per week.

The row between the Spanish and French leagues after Kylian Mbappe snubbed Real Madrid to sign a highly lucrative new Paris Saint-Germain contract rumbles on

The spat between the Spanish and French leagues continues as Kylian Mbappe chose Paris Saint-Germain over Real Madrid to sign a lucrative new contract.

Spanish LaLiga president Javier Tebas has one again taken aim at PSG and their ownership

PSG and its ownership have once again been targeted by Spanish LaLiga president Javier Tebas.

'We will not allow a European team to ruin European football's ecology,' Tebas said.

'It's not a French football problem; it's a European football problem.' We want Ligue 1 to be a long-lasting competition. It is detrimental to the industry.

'We have already formulated our claim in relation to the PSG issue, which we will submit to UEFA in the coming days.'

'I feel this is what we must do in order to safeguard European and Spanish football, and we will do so.'

Tebas went on to accuse PSG's owners, Qatar Sports Investments, of violating financial regulations and demanded that UEFA sanction them.

'A team that has lost €300 to €400 million [£255 to £340 million] in the previous three seasons will spend over €600 million [£510 million] in wages this year and have commercial revenues higher than Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Barcelona,' he continued.

'No one believes you,' says the narrator. Then they re-sign Mbappe for €100 million [£85 million, plus a signing bonus] gross or net.

'That's impossible unless there's deception in terms of sponsorship or capital contributions that exceeds what's required.'

'We appear to be European Robin Hoods.' I've spoken with other leagues, and some may join us [in our UEFA claim].

'No matter what the president of the French league says, we're going to do it.' In Europe, they already know who I am.'

LaLiga president Tebas emphasized that clubs controlled by sovereign wealth funds were fine as long as they stayed under the Financial Fair Play guidelines.

'We don't care if the owners are states,' he said. PSG's ownership by Qatar Investments does not bother me.

'The issue is its mindset as a club owner,' says the author. They don't care about losses; they put in the money then want, and they fool you with sponsorship arrangements that aren't worth your time.

'This is the issue.' They give money based on the state figure, regardless of their losses.'

That led to LaLiga chief Javier Tebas describing the new deal as 'an insult to football'

As a result, LaLiga president Javier Tebas called the new arrangement a "insult to football."

'I'm not going to sit next to Nasser Al-Khelaifi at a UEFA Executive Committee meeting and say, 'Hey Nasser, let's have an appetiser after the meal," Tebas remarked of his connection with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

"Listen Nasser, stop cheating because what you're doing is screwing football," I've warned him countless times. We must compel him to listen since he is deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deaf

Tebas' current comments are the latest salvo in an ongoing verbal battle between the Spanish and French leagues following Mbappe's decision to stay at PSG rather than go with European champions Real Madrid.

Last Thursday, Ligue 1 chairman Vincent Labrune reminded Tebas that Real and Barcelona benefited from "illegal state aid" and spend vast sums on transfer fees and wages.

'First, in terms of financial stability and sustainability, two of your clubs - Real Madrid and Barcelona - have set numerous records in the last decade,' Labrune remarked.

Vincent Labrune, the president of the French league, blasted back at Tebas last week

'In terms of transfer money, these two teams have surpassed the world record six times,' said Vincent Labrune, president of the French league, last week. Real Madrid presently has two of the highest-paid players in the world on their bench [Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard] in terms of player pay.

'In terms of debt, Barcelona is said to be €1.5 billion in debt, despite the European Court of Justice ruling that Real Madrid and Barcelona benefited from illegal state aid.'

'LaLiga has spent 32% more on players than Ligue 1 in the last ten years, and substantially more on international players outside your own league than Ligue 1.'

'Rather than recognizing Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos, and others who left your league voluntarily last year, you commented on their age and branded our league as being 'like the league of legends considering the age of some players,' as you had done weeks before their departure.'

Before the forthcoming internationals, Mbappe poses with France coach Didier Deschamps.

Your insults now appear to be directed at Kylian Mbappe, who is universally regarded as one of the best players in the world and who simply chose not to join your league despite receiving a similar offer.

'Unlike you, Ligue 1 honors and promotes players from all around Europe, even those from your league.'

'Someone in your varied situations could do well to think about it,' says the author.

Tebas' first comments on the Mbappe announcement, in which he called PSG's actions "an insult to football" and claimed that "Al-Khelaifi is as dangerous as the Super League," were met with Labrune's retort.
