After his leap forward in the Championship last season, Fabio Carvalho reunites with individual Fulham foundation graduate Harvey Elliott.
Quite a while back, Liverpool struck Fulham for one of their two most encouraging youths, marking dynamic going after midfielder Harvey Elliott from the London club. This mid year, they're acquiring Fulham's other most encouraging youth, Fabio Carvalho.
Carvalho, who was brought into the world in Lisbon yet experienced childhood in London, made his leading edge last season in the Championship, with 11 objectives and eight aids 38 appearances for an objective commitment like clockwork as a 19-year-old. What's more, he's a player Elliott knows well.
"He was my number one player to play with at Fulham," Elliott told The Liverpool Echo when gotten some information about Liverpool's most up to date marking. "Me and him had an extraordinary association, on the pitch as well as off the pitch and I will care for him when he shows up.
"In any case, frankly, I don't figure I should do that, he will just fit in flawlessly. He has everything in him, each trait you can imagine, so I am super eager to see him again following three years or so and I am really eager to impart the pitch to him once more."
The greatest inquiry for Carvalho may be a comparable one Elliott confronted while joining the Reds, to be specific where he squeezes into Jürgen Klopp's 4-3-3 and whether he's more going after midfielder, misleading nine, or maybe even a choice on the wing for his new club.
Any place he winds up, however, obviously the assumption for some at the club is that Carvalho — and Elliott alongside him — will play a huge part to play for the group next season as the Reds seek challenge for the association title and win more flatware.
"He can play anyplace, and I am certain he will actually want to simply play anyplace," Elliott added. "He simply needs to play. He has consistently had that yearning and want and I am really glad that he is marking with us and I am exceptionally cheerful I can impart the pitch to him once more."
