A few weeks ago, news of popular kumawood actor Osei Tutu’a death broke out, Osei Tutu was a popular Kumawood actor who starred in most kumawood movies alongside Ras nene, Maame serwaa, ya a Jackson, Agya koo, Kwaku manu, Emelia brobbey and among others.
However, after the Kumawood movie industry got down on production he traveled to seek a better life abroad. He retired years ago to stay back in ghana and got sick only for the industry and Ghanaians to hear of his demise on the 17th of May 2022. After his death, her mother came out to alleged that, her son on his sick bed told her some people envied him in the industry and has done “juju” on him leading to his sickness and eventually his passing.
His brother also alleged that, his brother before he died vomited about six needles before dying. The family of the deceased after going into an agreement decided to settle for 2 June as the one-week observation rite of the late actor. Due to his work and contribution to the Kumawood movie industry, his one-week rites were attended by popular kunwood actors and loved ones.
Popular people in the industry like Ras Nene also known as Akabenezer, Ama Tundra, Shiifo, Longface, Sumsum Ahuof3, Komfo Koleege, and many others were there to show their love at the ceremony which was quite solemn despite how most of the young ladies and gentlemen in the area were behaving.
Osei tutu was considered one of the best actors in the Kumawood industry, he was mostly seen playing the role of a gangster or a bodyguard in most movies and he played those roles with style. The Kumawood industry is sorrow in this trying times and have extended their condolences and support to the family.
