The club calendar's final match is over, and all eyes are on the transfer market ahead of a summer of frenetic activity, with a slew of players poised to switch teams.

Even though the season is finished, the transfer window has opened, and we're in for a busy summer.

With some high-profile stars reaching free agency, a slew of big players could be on the move. Robert Lewandowski's Bayern Munich tenure has come to an end, with the striker allegedly ready to join Barcelona, but Manchester United is keeping an eye on him.

However, the Germans could lessen the blow of his departure by signing Sadio Mane, who appears to be on his way out of Liverpool.

Chelsea have rekindled their interest in Sevilla centre-back Jules Kounde following the arrival of new owner Todd Boehly. After signing Ivan Perisic, Tottenham manager Antonio Conte is thought to have a large transfer budget, while Arsenal are still interested in Gabriel Jesus.

Ramsay is expected to join Liverpool.

Liverpool appear to be in pole position to acquire Aberdeen full-back Calvin Ramsay.

The Reds and Premier League rivals Leeds have been fighting for the 18-year-old, but it now appears that Anfield will be his final destination.

Both teams have been scouting Ramsay, with sources claiming Jurgen Klopp had personally authorized the transfer, with a deal now reported to be close

Leeds United are on the verge of signing a second player.

Leeds United are likely to sign Rasmus Kristensen, a Danish defender from Red Bull Salzburg, for £8.5 million this summer.

Leeds had already secured the services of US midfielder Brenden Aaronson from Salzburg, and the Austrian champions have now accepted their offer for Kristensen.

Personal terms are unlikely to be an issue, and the right-back will join Leeds once his physical is completed.

Kristensen, 24, is now with Denmark in the Nations League after spending two years under Leeds manager Jesse Marsch before joining Salzburg in 2019.

Because of the long-term injuries to Luke Ayling and Stuart Dallas, Leeds needed to strengthen at right-back, and Kristensen's arrival was seen as a coup because Brentford and Borussia Dortmund were also interested.

Ben Mee is leading the way for Aston Villa and Everton.

Burnley are likely to lose Ben Mee, who has spent 11 years at Turf Moor, on a free transfer.

Following their relegation, Burnley are expected to lose Mee and his centre-back partner James Tarkowski, and the Clarets captain is receiving Premier League interest.

Mee was offered new terms by Burnley during the season, but he delayed making a decision until now.

Mee, who has made 341 appearances for Burnley, is reluctant to leave Turf Moor because he wants to continue playing at the highest level.

Mee, 32, has been out with a hairline fibula fracture since March and was part of interim manager Mike Jackson's coaching staff for the final eight games of Burnley's relegation battle.

He joined Burnley on loan from Manchester City in 2011, then made the move permanent the following year, and has since become their most important player.

Tarkowski had resolved to leave Burnley this summer, regardless of the league the club will be in next season, and his contract had expired.

Aston Villa and Everton are the frontrunners to sign him, and he is receiving a lot of Premier League interest.
