Major European Football Transfers finalized And Done Deals So Far
European transfers are currently underway, and the top completed deals are listed below.
1. Erling Halland - His move from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City is complete. It was a €75 million deal, and he will earn around £375,000 per week. He has agreed to terms with Man City until June 2027.
2. Philippe Coutinho has joined Aston Villa on a permanent basis after leaving Barcelona. He was on loan since January. Aston Villa agreed to pay a €20 million fee to sign him. Barca will also receive 50% of any future sales.
3. Robert Lewandowski - He wants to leave Bayern Munich and has stated that his preferred destination is Barcelona. Bayern is responsible to decide whether to sell him since he is under contract until June 2023.
4. Andreas Christensen has joined Barcelona. Thomas Tuchel confirmed the completion of the transaction. Barcelona is also interested in Marcos Alonso.
5. Eric Ten Haag - From Ajax, he has signed as the new manager of Manchester United. He has already arrived in Manchester to begin work.
6. Marquinhos - Arsenal have reached an agreement with Sao Paulo to sign the winger for €3.5 million. He agreed to a contract extension until June 2027. Arsenal is now focusing on signing Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus.
7. Karim Adeyami has joined Borussia Dortmund on a permanent basis after leaving RB Salzburg. It is a €38 million deal with add-ons.
8. Divock Origi - AC Milan are working on finishing details to complete Origi deal on a free transfer from Liverpool. Milan and Liverpool are currently in talks.
9. Ryan Gravenberch - The FC Bayern deal is moving forward. Final details, including payment terms, will be discussed with Ajax. Personal terms and a contract extension until June 2027 have been agreed upon.
10. Mathijs De Ligt - He is close to re-signing with Juventus. Advanced talks to extend the agreement until June 2026 are still ongoing. De Ligt is now willing to stay at Juventus, but Chiellini will depart in the coming days.
11. Dejan Kulusevski and Cristian Romero will both join Tottenham on a permanent basis. They are currently on loan at Spurs. Tottenham will pay a total fee of around €80 million for two players who are regarded as critical to the project's future success.
12. Dean Henderson is being pursued by Newcastle. The English goalkeeper may leave Manchester United this summer in search of regular playing time. Newcastle's budget will determine whether a loan or a permanent move is necessary.
