Raheem Sterling's future remaining parts dubious while his agreement at Manchester City runs down, and Real Madrid's advantage could toss a spanner underway for Pep Guardiola.
Falling off the rear of winning La Liga and the Champions League, Real are supposedly excited about the 27-year-old, so City will be frantic to secure Sterling to another arrangement if not he could leave on a free exchange one year from now.
Paddy Kenny accepts Los Blancos could be hard for Sterling to turn down, telling Football Insider: "Genuine Madrid have a gigantic draw. Does he suppose his time is up at City now? Is it safe to say that he is needing a new test?
"That would make sense of why he has allowed his agreement to run down a smidgen. We don't realize need has continued and Real Madrid is the club everybody needs to play for - they have recently won La Liga and the Champions League.
"The chance to play for the European bosses may be a lot for Sterling to turn down." Sterling has scored 17 objectives with nine aids 47 games in all cases this season, so he actually has worth to City.
The England global has for the most part been an ordinary in the Premier League, yet he was sidelined in the two-legged Champions League semi-last.
