Police to reunite 11-year-old girl whose father attempted to use her for money ritual with family.
The Ghana Police Service has said it is putting forth all attempts to rejoin the 11-year-old young lady whose father endeavored to involve her for cash customs, with her loved ones.
The Police unveiled this in an explanation gave following the capture of the 42-year-old financial specialist, Evans Oppong, an occupant of Fise, close to Amasaman who took his girl to a local cleric at Oyibi Kom, in Accra for ceremonial purposes.
"The casualty is as of now in the protected guardianship of the Police, while a work is being made to rejoin her with her mom and the remainder of the family," the assertion said.
That's what it added: "The suspect is as of now in Police Custody helping with the examination."
The financial specialist had looked for the assistance of a botanist, Nana Adu-Boafo, for the conciliatory work.
Notwithstanding, the botanist alarmed the police and caused his capture.
The botanist, who recorded the whole capture as it unfurled, is heard in the video saying: "The young lady's dad came to see me; he let me know he just arrived in the nation subsequent to remaining abroad for some time and it hasn't been simple for him".

The botanist, in an ensuing post on Facebook, apologized for showing the young lady's face in the viral video.
