Many NDC members in the constituency congregated at the former President John Dramani Mahama's Mother & Child hospital, where the hospital's grounds were weeded and cleaned up as part of the anniversary celebrations.
Chairman Stephen Ofosu Agyare gave a lot of vital supplies to the hospital, including payments for hospital bills for patients who were detained because they couldn't pay their medical expenses.
He cleared expenses ranging from GHS45.00 to GHS1000.00 for several hospital patients who could not be discharged because they owed the hospital previously.
This reflects the country's present difficult economic position, in which prices for everything have skyrocketed, including transportation rates.
Prices of products and services have escalated to the point where families are struggling to make ends meet and can no longer afford to pay medical bills as low as GHS45.00, particularly in the case of patients at Kasoa's Mother & Child hospital.
Some NDC members who were present at the hospital during the blood donations donated their blood to be put to the hospital's blood bank, allowing patients in need of blood to quickly recover from their illnesses and save their lives. He gave an interview to media present at the event, claiming that the NPP's pledge of "one district, one factory" is a ruse because the NPP government has not constructed a single factory in Kasoa or elsewhere in the country since taking power.
According to the chairman, the pledge of a million dollars for one Constituency has also not materialized. He urged residents of the Constituency and Ghanaians in general to vote en masse for the NDC and John Mahama in the upcoming general elections in 2024 in order to save the country from the hands of the opposition. Men who are only concerned about themselves, their families, and friends, rather than the well-being of the Ghanaian people. He said that the country's current difficulty is unparalleled, and that it was this hardship that spurred the June 4th revolution, which is based on accountability, probity, and transparency. He discussed how the covid monies donated to Ghana were split among key NPP politicians, as well as the country's poor governance thus far. He is convinced that a John Mahama government will fix all of the country's grave mistakes, and he has urged Ghanaians to keep hope alive because they will have the opportunity to vote out the corrupt NPP government in 2024.
