Top 20 FIFA World Ranking of Countries in 2022, with Only One African Team Participating

The FIFA global ranking was formed in 1992, and it include some of the strongest teams in the world, like Argentina, Brazil, and England. Brazil has already surpassed Belgium in the 2022 rating because they are now the most dominant team. CONMEBOL's counter-offensive has also been putting out their best effort, only following the European nations' lead. This is owing to Europe's dominance. Furthermore, the Africa association has demonstrated its worth by having one team in the top 20.Despite their tumble from position 18 to 20, the Lions of Terange have preserved their CAF association name. In contrast to the AFC, this is not the case. Mane's command of the Senegalese forces in battle cannot be overlooked. Senegal was awarded Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) winners, gaining a place in the Qatar World Cup in 2022. In terms of rankings, there have been more shifts, and as a result, the world of football is constantly evolving.

Italy must accept its fate in the World Cup, according to FIGC president Gravina.

If Italy continues to speculate on routes to the World Cup, federation president Gabriele Gravina stated on Saturday that the country will become a laughingstock in international football. After losing to North Macedonia in a play-off semi-final in March, the Azzurri were unable to qualify for Qatar 2022, a startling conclusion that has caused great consternation.Former Juventus great Roberto Baggio remarked this week that Italy's failure to automatically qualify for the World Cup based on their Euro 2020 victory was "shameful." After FIFA initiated disciplinary proceedings into charges that the South American country played an ineligible player during their successful qualification campaign, there has been conjecture that Italy could sneak in via the back door if Ecuador is knocked out.Gravina, the FIGC's president, believes that it is the time for Italy to face their fate, no matter how hard it may be. "We introduced a new method of working a few weeks ago," Gravina told Sky Sport in Italy. "We stated that we must work together to reclaim our credibility." We understand that it is difficult, and that there are crucial difficulties, but credibility is tied to a sensitive period in which we must eradicate everything that makes us appear untrustworthy."Allow me to also address the problem of World Cup repechage, which undermines our credibility. There are winners and losers in football. Italy was eliminated and did not qualify for the World Cup, hence it will be absent from the tournament. We'll do it later if we have to work because we believe the regulations need to be altered. Italy has been eliminated from the World Cup. Let's take it for granted because if we don't, we'll continue to say things that put everyone, including worldwide audiences, in a position to mock us."Italy's head coach, Roberto Mancini, remarked on Friday about his desire for new beginnings with his team, whose European Championship triumph at last year's postponed tournament has been overshadowed by their failure to qualify for two consecutive World Cups.

"Winning the European Championship is part of the romanticism that these tournaments have." Now we have to start over and reclaim that magic," Mancini stated before of his team's Nations League match against Germany on Saturday. This is the first time I've encountered a problem like this. When it comes to football, though, when you win, everyone is on your side, and when you lose, practically everyone is on your side. That's the way things are. "From now on, it'll be a fresh start."
