Which Liverpool players recorded the most minutes for club and country after a brutally difficult season in which they went the distance in four competitions?
Liverpool had a great season, but it did not end with the success that many had hoped for.
Nonetheless, the FA Cup and League Cup were secured, and a crowd of over 500,000 people lined the streets to watch the triumph parade.
The Reds played 63 games in total, including three finals, in the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and League Cup, while a number of players also competed in exciting tournaments with their national teams.
Liverpool will have a well-deserved rest before the start of pre-season on July 4. However, just days after the season ended, 21 of Jurgen Klopp's players left for post-season international duty, delaying their recuperation even more.

First and foremost, the exorbitant workload of Salah, Mane, Diaz, and Robertson, who are first-choice regulars for both club and country.
The fact that they were able to regularly produce at such a high level throughout 2021/22 is a measure to their quality – and, more importantly, their resilience.
Van Dijk's ability to play so many minutes after suffering a season-ending ACL injury the previous season is maybe even more astounding.
The Dutchman rarely missed a minute for club or country, and Netherlands manager Louis van Gaal is giving him a well-deserved rest this month.

Due to his vital standing with Greece, Tsimikas is one of the rare players who benefits from the more crowded international schedule, as the left-back is able to keep his fitness despite a bit-part role under Klopp.
Moving forward, it wouldn't be surprising if individuals in the top 11 for minutes played in 2021/22 – from Jota to Salah – were gradually reintegrated over the course of pre-season, while those who were less frequently utilized were prominently featured in the early weeks.
Of course, there's still a ludicrous summer of fixtures to contend with.
