Kan-Dapaah commends Military for commitment to terrorism fight.

Mr Albert Kan-Dapaah, the Minister for National Security, has complimented Military staff sent in the Northern area for their responsibility against dangers of psychological oppression.

"The staff of the Unit have remained consistent with their sacred order to safeguard the regional trustworthiness and sway of Ghana consistently," the Minister noted in a proclamation from the Ghana Armed Forces after a powerful security designation visit to the 11 Mechanized Battalion Area of Operation in Bawku and Mognori Detachments in the Upper East Region.

 

The visit was required by the arising dangers of psychological warfare along the northern wildernesses of the nation and public endeavors against the dangers.

 

Mr Kan-Dapaah said the Government knew about the difficulties the staff confronted and endeavors that had been made to convey the fundamental assets to empower them work successfully and productively.

 

The Minister urged the staff to stay proficient, focused and careful and keep on safeguarding the northeastern wildernesses of the country.

 

Lieutenant Colonel Minta-Agyemang, the Commanding Officer, 11 Mechanized Battalion, advised the Minister and his company on the activities, preparing and calculated matters in the functional region.

 

The Ghana Armed Forces with sister security administrations have set out on a few counter-psychological oppression preparing activities and tasks with the joint effort of their global accomplices as of late to dissuade and free the nation of any fear based oppressor component or danger while safeguarding the populace and public resources.

They are: Exercise Eagle Claws, Exercise Burning Arrow and Operation Conquered Fist.

The appointment include: Mr Stephen Yakubu, the Upper East Regional Minister and Head of the Regional Security Council, Mr Edward Kwaku Asomani, the Deputy National Security Coordinator, and Major General Thomas Oppong-Peprah, Chief of the Army Staff.
