Sir Sam Jonah, Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast, UCC, has focused on the difficulties that ladies especially face in the realm of work.

He saw that universally, female pioneers have demonstrated gamechangers in many regards, refering to among others Golda Meir of Israel; Winnie Mandela of South Africa; Indira Ghandi of India; Margaret Thatcher of the United Kingdom; and more recntly, Angela Merkel of Germany.
He continued to list eight Ghanaian ladies pioneers who he portrayed as "uncommonly gifted" having worked with them in a single limit or the other.
