A few days ago, there was a video spreading faster which quickly went viral after a man who had just returned from abroad decided to use one of his twelve kids for a money ritual to enrich himself and was exposed and handed over to the police in the act. The herbalist whose name is yet to ne known called the police while pointing a gun at the ritual man and warned him not to move cause if he move he will shoot.
In no time, the police arrived and he told them he is a herbalist, not a money ritual performer so his action is to put out a message that not all herbalists are killers, going forward he took the police to his room where the innocent girl for the ritual was spotted. The victim who bow in shame after he was caught was handcuffed by the police and sent to the police station.
People have been applauding the herbalist since but fast circulating WhatsApp chats suggest otherwise. The chart spotted on the page of ghbase.com reads;
“According to the information that was provided to him by a few military men who had worked with the fetish priest when he was serving in the Ghana Armed Forces, he is a fraud.
It is said that he was kicked out of the Armed Forces for his covert plots, which were aimed at bringing others’ reputations into disrepute and pitting one group against another.
He was called a treacherous con artist by those who knew him.
As a result of this, it has come to light that as a noted troublemaker, he most likely staged the entire incident to get people talking about the appropriate cause”.
Ghanaian critic Kwame A-plus also asked for both the herbalist and the police who did the arrest to be investigated because it might be a setup whereby the police will have their cut.
