During his most recent international appearance, the Norwegian attacker scored twice, including a personal clash versus a chatty Swedish opponent.

In Norway's 2-1 UEFA Nations League triumph over Sweden, Erling Haaland scored twice, with the Manchester City-bound striker having the last laugh after a heated clash with Alexander Milosevic in which he claims a chatty opponent called him "a wh*re" and threatened to break his legs.

On Sunday in Stockholm, a prolific goalscorer who is set to join the Premier League this summer scored twice either side of half-time to help his club earn three valuable points against Scandinavian rivals.

When converting from the penalty spot and claiming a well-taken second, the 21-year-old showcased his predatory instincts once more, shaking off alleged fight cries from Swedish defender Milosevic to guarantee that Norway was celebrating at the final whistle.

"First he called me a wh*re," Haaland recalled TV2 of his on-field skirmishes with former Nottingham Forest star Milosevic. I can confidently assert that I am not.

Secondly, he threatened to break my legs, but I scored a minute and a half later." That was all right.

"That's the dumbest thing to do," Norway teammate Leo Skiri Ostigard said of the alleged contact between feisty defense and hot-shot striker.

"I've tried to fire up Erling in training, and I'll never do it again." It's something he enjoys, and then it smacks into you from behind."

The 30-year-old centre-back has refuted Haaland's claims, claiming that he never interacted with the Norwegian superstar during a tense match.

I would not have said it, Milosevic stated of the "wh*re" insult claims.

"It's impolite to say what he says because I don't speak Norwegian and he doesn't speak Swedish, so I'm not sure how we're supposed to communicate." On the pitch, I don't speak English, so it's unusual that he says things I haven't.

When asked if he ever argued with Haaland, Milosevic replied, "No, not really, to be absolutely honest." I've been in games when I've been more irritated.

The Swedish defense went on to say that Haaland is a part of Sweden.
