Ghanaian actor Prince David Osei has seemingly regretted campaigning for the New Patriotic Party administration. In the round up to the 2020 general elections, the actor and other loyalists of the New Patriotic Party campaigned massively for the current President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo to win the elections. Although the actor had received a lot of backlash for that, he still stood his grounds.
In a series of lashing outs to the President, he disclosed his displeasure in the poor governance under the Nana Addo led administration. This follows on the back of his comment on the construction of the National Cathedral as a misplaced priority. Undoubtedly, the living conditions here in Ghana have become so high and salaries are still the same. National Service Personnel and NABCO trainees salaries are all in arrears for a couple of months now.
Government has issued out a whooping sum of GHC 25m as seed money to the construction of the National Cathedral. People have questioned the necessity of the Cathedral during these hard times when Ghanaians are finding it so difficult to earn a living.
What are your thoughts? Is it a misplaced priority building a National Cathedral during these hard times or you think we can still build the Cathedral during these hard times? Comment your thoughts below and do not forget to share this article to the reach of many.
