The Education Minister has prayed to God to grant Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's requests.

God will not forget the Vice President for his kind heart, according to Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum.

On Monday, June 6, he uttered the prayer during the sod-cutting ceremony for phase II of the State-of-the-Art Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) Centres in Abrankese, Greater Kumasi, Ashanti Region.

'We'll pray that God grants you your heart's wishes.' - Bawumia's Education Minister

"Bosomtwe will never forget Nana Akufo-Addo, and Bosomtwe will always remember the Vice President of the Republic, Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia," the Bosomtwe politician added.

As a result, he stated that the Vice President's vision for Ghana will be realized.

"We will always stand with Dr. Bawumia and hope for him to fulfill his goals and desires." We don't know what his dreams are right now, but whatever they are, we pray to God to grant them to him.

"So, Vice President, whatever you want from God when you pray, God will speak to Bosomtwe, and Bosomtwe will answer to God's call, and your vision will be realized." We just have no idea what you're praying for; only God knows."

Dr. Bawumia, the Minister of Trade and Industry, Alan Kyerematen, the Minister of Food and Agriculture, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, and the former Minister of Energy, Boakye Agyarko, are among those fighting for the NPP's presidential candidate seat.

Dr. Bawumia and Mr. Alan Kyerematen, however, are the two front-runners.

However, it is unclear if the Minister's prayers include Dr. Bawumia's desire.

Meanwhile, one of the party's most powerful members has urged the Vice President to withdraw from the party's impending presidential election.

Dr. Richard Amoako-Baah said that Dr. Bawumia is not a legitimate party member.

"Bawumia is younger than the others, and he is not a real blood member of the NPP." He's an outcast. He's done OK; he's accompanied Nana three times. People will first press him to go."

"The first, second, and third times they won, he was with Nana. Now he wants another four years, or 16 years, and I'm sure he'll run again after that. Is he the only one at the gathering? "It's a question," says the narrator.
