The metamorphosis of Real Madrid is far from complete. There could be another six players who have no idea what their fate is. Their long-term viability is being questioned. They're all bound by an agreement. Only one more season is left for four of them. Real Madrid's leaders will treat everyone with respect, but they will not give away players who will fetch a high market price.

Dani Ceballos, Marco Asensio, Luka Jovic, Mariano Diaz, Jesus Vallejo, and Andriy Lunin are among the players whose futures are up in the air. However, not everyone is in the same boat. By a long shot, no.

Because of their football importance, the first two cases are the most notable. For the time being, the ball is in the hands of the players and their entourage, as no renewal proposals have been made. They can choose to play for another team or stay with Los Blancos for more minutes and possibilities. To put it another way, to feel important somewhere else or to find playing at Real Madrid difficult.Asensio was the third-highest goal scorer last season, and it would be wonderful if he decided to stay and carry out his contract. Carlo Ancelotti will know how to provide him with minutes and opportunities, but his contract does not appear to be up for renewal anytime soon.

Despite acknowledging that he felt important during the season, the Spanish international has claimed that he wants to be more prominent. Because he is a well-known figure, he will have numerous opportunities. Jorge Mendes is open to suggestions.Ceballos has gained everyone's trust in the last weeks of the campaign, but unlike Asensio, he has not been offered a contract renewal. Real Betis would welcome him, but the club's goal is to complete the financial year on a high note, which will need selling some of their assets before focusing on improving Manuel Pellegrini's roster. Real Madrid will not sell the Andalusian midfielder.

Depending on how you look at it, the upcoming World Cup in Qatar is either a nuisance or an incentive. A lack of playing time early in the season could jeopardize their chances of making the World Cup, and it's a concern that needs to be addressed in the coming weeks.Mariano is resolute about taking any of the market offers, and he has already informed the club that this summer would be different from the previous ones, in which he flatly refused to leave, as he did with Rayo Vallecano's offer in August.

Jovic appears to be the player who has made the most of his departure from Real Madrid. The Serbian is well aware that he will not be relied upon and that his fate will not be decided in Madrid. Milan, the reigning Italian champions who are poised to reclaim their place among Europe's elite, is one of the teams keeping an eye on Jovic. His Bundesliga performance sets the tone for a quick outcome.Vallejo's contract, like Jovic's, runs out in 2025. With the arrival of Antonio Rudiger, he realizes he'll need to find a new team in order to obtain more playing time. A lot of transactions have already occurred, and the club is betting on a transfer due to his passion and commitment. The defender is unfazed about playing a supporting role and is ready to continue.

Lunin is anxious to play, but Real Madrid is adamant about keeping the backup goalkeeper. They're aiming for a contract extension first, then another loan to allow him to play in the Premier League. It's not unreasonable to picture a Real Madrid team in 2022/23 with up to nine departures, which will undoubtedly have an impact on the club's loan players and some of the club's young academy players. The season ahead will be difficult and full of contests (six in total), demanding the creation of a solid squad for Ancelotti's club.

Madrid's management and coaches are discussing a team that requires few but high-quality reinforcements based on its performance. Rudiger has already arrived, and all indications are that others will follow, but signing knowing that the starting lineup would be more than clear due to what is already in place at Valdebebas is complicated in this situation.Takefusa Kubo, Reinier Jesus, Brahim Diaz, Borja Mayoral, Fran Garcia, Jorge de Frutos, and Victor Chust are just a handful of the players with a promising future.Gareth Bale, Isco, and Marcelo have all left Real Madrid, leaving a long list of titles and sensations in their wake. The departures of Bale and Isco have been all but confirmed for some time, while Marcelo has indicated his wish to stay at Real Madrid after many years as one of the best players in the world.
