Lionel Messi and Neymar are among the 10 players whose transfer market values have risen and fallen the most in Ligue 1.The 2022 French Ligue 1 season came to a close a few weeks ago, with Mauricio Pochettino's Paris Saint-Germain triumphing over the competition. Although the French Ligue 1 club had ups and downs on their route to triumph last season, it wasn't easy for them.
With 86 points, Mauricio Pochettino's Paris Saint-Germain won the French Ligue 1 title, finishing 15 points ahead of second-placed Marseille and reclaiming the crown from Lille, the previous champions.Former Barcelona star Lionel Messi had a difficult start to his debut French Ligue 1 season at Paris Saint-Germain, registering only a couple goals. Real Madrid has reportedly made an offer to the Manchester City star, but there is one snag.
Real Madrid must now plan for the summer in order to participate in all tournaments next season in the same manner as they did this season. There are some players who are expected to leave the club, and some who have already announced their exits, so it makes sense for the team to identify some players worth pursuing this summer.Gabriel Jesus has made it clear that he wants to leave Manchester City this summer. He's in the final year of his contract, so it'd make sense for him to depart now so City can obtain a fee for him.
Real Madrid has been offered the services of Gabriel Jesus, according to a report by Antón Meana, which was later confirmed by Mario Cortegana. However, nothing is certain, and the deal is fraught with problems.
The fact that Real Madrid has non-EU spaces complicates the Gabriel Jesus trade.
Real are interested in Jesus, according to Meana, and the player wants a 5-million-per-year deal, which isn't awful. The superstar Vinicius Junior occupies one, Eder Militao occupies another, and Rodrygo occupies the third. Now, the transaction isn't impossible because these athletes should be able to receive their Spanish passports sooner rather than later because they've spent enough time in the country. But it isn't finished yet, which is why, if Real are serious about it, the whole thing will most likely take some time.
But there's a problem with Gabriel Jesus. He's leaving Manchester City because he needs minutes. He's noted for being able to play in a variety of attacking positions, including right winger. But it's clear that this isn't his preferred position, and if it were up to me, I'd take it.Jesus is still a great option, and he's scored 15 goals or more in three of his five seasons in Manchester. He'd be competing with Rodrygo for a starting spot, which I'm fine with. Both of those players would put pressure on each other, resulting in more healthy competitiveness among the club. Besides, I don't believe Asensio is good enough to play in the team next season, therefore despite my preference for Gnabry, I'd choose Gabriel Jesus over Asensio. But, maybe, Real will be able to resolve this issue before it's too late.
