Inaki Williams and Nico Williams are expected to make their decision to play for Ghana's Black Stars official later today when they arrive in the nation for vacation and meet with the Ghana Football Association's top authorities.
According to Season Journalist Michael Oti Adjei, they are likely to arrive in the country later today.
The Ghana Football Association is scheduled to start the process of switching Inaki Williams and Nico Williams' nationalities.
After playing for Spain at the youth level, the two players are thought to have agreed to represent Ghana at the adult level.
Through parental linage, both athletes are eligible to play for the Black Stars.
Ghana has had a number of players born in other nations who have gone on to play for the Black Stars. Kevin Prince Boateng, Adam Kwarasey, Kofi Kyereh, Okyere Wriedt, and a few others were among those that participated.
There are still a few of players of Ghanaian heritage who are eligible to represent Ghana at the World Cup this year.
Ambrosius, Stephan
Ambrosius, a defender for Hamburg, was born in Germany to Ghanaian parents. Because of his Ghanaian parents, he is qualified to play for the country. He is a young German international.
Lamptey, Tariq
The right defender, who formerly represented England at the junior level, has switched to Ghana. The player is now in Ghana and was there during the Cape Coast victory over Madagascar.
According to reports, the procedure is now complete, and Tariq Lamptey will be invited to the upcoming Afcon Qualifiers.
Nico Williams and Inaki Williams
The GFA has been trying for a long time to convince Inaki Williams to join the Black Stars, but to no effect. As the Athletic Bilbao striker has a change of heart, progress has been made in that direction.
Nico, his younger brother, is thinking about following in his footsteps. The brothers and sisters have both played for Spanish junior teams.
Eddie Nketiah.
Arsenal forward Nketiah, who was born and raised in England, is also a Ghanaian national team member. He was the captain of the Three Lions' U-21 team. Due to a lack of senior call-ups, the young gunner has turned his attention to his second country.
Odoi, Callum Hudson
The Chelsea winger had a bad season due to injury, but he is now being put through his paces. He should be able to play in the preseason. Despite having played for England's junior teams, he is one of the players Ghana can recruit.
If all of these players are able to finish all of the necessary procedures, Ghana will have a formidable team for the World Cup and the Afcon next year.
