Sensational Grammy and BET award winner, born Damini ogulu better known by his stage name “Burnaboy” has reacted and paid his respect and condolences to the deceased and families involved in the shootout that happens on Sunday the 5th of June in St Francis catholic church in owo ondo states. About 50 people were confirmed dead and others severely injured, leaving individuals inside and outside the community to go donate blood to help save the remaining whose lives were at stake.
This massacre happened when unknown gunmen entered the church while service was ongoing and opened fire, killing at least 50 people on the spot and others with severe wounds, the government us yet to bong the culprits to justice since they fled the scene after their disastrous act. Nigerian celebrities took to the various platforms to react Davido took to his Instagram page, posted a picture, and asked God to take control of the country, comedian Sabinus also posted candles to signify the lord is with them in this difficult time.
Burnaboy has also reacted sadly, reacting to the news, he took to his official Twitter page and wrote;
” Nothing is sacred anymore! ? Mothers, fathers, children, and babies getting killed My heartfelt condolences to all those who have lost family or friends from terrorist strikes across our country these past few months. I stand with you. Love, Damini”.
Nigerians have been among the African countries with the most attacks, from the Boko haram, to the herdsmen attacking a church. Recently there was also a bomb attack in a school located in one of the states in Nigeria, which led to severe injuries to some innocent kids.
