According to Forbes, Chelsea is the eighth richest club in the world.

1. Real Madrid - The Spanish giant Real Madrid is currently the world's richest club (in terms of billions of dollars).

Real Madrid, who had previously occupied the second spot on the list, has risen to the top after winning the Champions League and the La Liga title in the recently finished season.

2. Barcelona - After going trophy-less in the just-completed La Liga season, Barcelona has dropped to second place on the list.

3. Manchester United - Due to the club's current net worth in billions, Manchester United has risen to third place on the list, ahead of other top European clubs.

Manchester United is not only the third richest club in the world, but also the richest club in England.

4. Liverpool - Liverpool, who had been in fifth place on the list for a few months, recently overtook Bayern Munich after winning two domestic titles and reaching the Champions League final last season. Chelsea, on the other hand, is now listed as the world's eighth richest club, with an estimated club worth of €2.9 billion. For further information, see the photo below.
