For the Old Trafford fans, the latest news from Portugal is depressing.

According to a rumor from Record, Klopp is about to sign the South American center striker for a cost of 100 million euros (£85 million).

They have offered £85 million to Benfica, and the Portuguese newspaper claims that the teenage forward is on the verge of becoming Liverpool's record acquisition.

Man United may have the financial resources to outbid Liverpool, but Nunez is said to have told the Eagles that he wants to join Liverpool.

At the end of the day, the allure of Champions League football has won the 22-year-old over, as he has no desire to play in the Europa League next season.

Why would he want to play on Thursday nights after a season in which he dominated Europe's top competition?

Real Madrid has broken their non-aggression contract with Atletico Madrid, according to Mario Cortegana, allowing them to sign players from their local rivals.

The Merengues fans were quick to select one Atleti star they'd want to see wear white next season after hearing the news: Joao Felix.

XavsFutbol: XavsFutbol: "If we are serious about breaking the deal with Atlético, we must free Joao Felix from Simeone's constraints and find a method to integrate him into our starting lineup. It's the proper course of action.

Loconteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee "Now that the deal has been thoroughly shattered, Real Madrid should just step up and sign Joao Felix.

"I'd go to Atleti's door and tell them they've got Jovic (Mariano is free) and €80 million for Joao Felix. Because they still have Griezzland, Cunha, and Angel Correa for the role, their wealth of "secondary strikers" may just allow this to happen.

SodaSiz: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, "Real Madrid's Joao Felix? He needs to bulk up, but he'd be Kaka under Don Carlo in 2007."

Felix is regarded as one of the world's most gifted young people. His move to Atletico Madrid, however, has not been entirely successful. In 35 games this season, the Portuguese scored 10 goals and added six assists.

However, according to Cadena SER, the non-aggression pact only applies to youth.

Real Madrid may be interested in signing a talented youngster from one of their competitors' academies. The club will have to negotiate with Atletico Madrid if they want someone from the first team.
