A viral video trending online captures the moment a teenage girl was manhandled by thugs hired by her stepfather. The 15-year-old girl who has been left traumatized was beaten and sexually harassed by two men hired by her stepfather for sleeping outside the previous night.
The incident happened at Akyem-Ofoase in the Akyemansa District of the Eastern region last week Sunday.
The step-father identified as Kofi Owusu, a farmer, and her mother, Sarah Frimpong allegedly hired the boys who whipped and fingered the little girl after stripping her naked.
The boy also took videos of her nakedness to share on social media all under the supervision of both her step-father and her biological mother.
Per reports, the young girl left home Saturday and did not return till Sunday morning, upon her arrival one of the hired men named Simeon rushed her with a bucket filled with cold water and poured it on her with the idea of baptizing her from chasing men. She was later stripped naked, flogged, and fingered, the young girl out of tears fled to a nearby plantation for safety but was chased down by the boys who eventually wanted to have s3x with her which she resisted.
The stepfather followed up on the scene and this time did the flogging himself while they recorded everything on camera. After the video went viral, the young girl have been traumatized and turned into a laughing stock in the community.
The victim's uncle then reported the case to the police and later contacted a lawyer and a gender activist to help deal with the culprits. However upon more reports sighted on the page of Adomonline.com the uncle is no longer pursuing the case as others suggest he may have been threatened by the parents of the young girl.
The police on the other hand have failed to make any arrest as they claim the head of the family has decided to solve the case amicably at home.
