If you're an Absa Bank member who frequently uses the bank's ATM, the machine now has a new function that will make your life easier and more convenient.

Customers may now use their mobile phones to withdraw money from any of Absa's ATMs using a digital QR code for the first time in Ghana. Absa's digital leadership in the banking industry is reflected in this feature, which is currently available at ATMs across the country.

Banking has always been a valuable part of national economic change and progress. With the advent of digital technology and the changing demands of customers, banks are developing new methods to engage clients and make transactions simple and convenient.

Absa's mobile banking app has an ATM QR Cash function that allows consumers to scan a code on the ATM with their phone and follow instructions for withdrawing cash without using a credit or debit card. The operation is completely automated and does not need any physical interaction with the ATM keys or buttons. Mobile technology and the physical ATM machine have a strong synergy, enhancing the way clients interact with their banks.

"It is a new method of banking that immediately alters our commitment to our consumers," Charles Addo, Director of Retail at Absa Bank Ghana, said of the new feature. We've reached a point in the global financial dynamic when businesses must continually reinvent themselves in order to be relevant.

Our clients are progressively expressing new requirements and expectations, and it is our obligation to provide those needs and expectations in a smooth manner. We're delighted about this development, and we're still working on new and better methods to make banking more enjoyable for our consumers."

The ATM QR Cash function is the latest addition to Absa Bank's long list of unique and inventive offerings. The bank has been at the vanguard of Ghana's digital banking leadership with a variety of products such as Absa Cash Send and Cash Accepting ATMs, which allow for 24-hour banking on the go.
