The UK-Ghana Chamber of Commerce (UKGCC), a member-based trade group that promotes bilateral trade between the United Kingdom and Ghana, will conduct the inaugural Royal Ascot Ladies Day Event in Ghana on Saturday, June 18th, 2022, to commemorate the renowned annual UK cultural event.
Each year in June, Ascot, one of Britain's most well-known racecourses, hosts the Royal Ascot, a unique week of racing visited by Her Majesty the Queen.

The UKGCC is honouring this wonderful British tradition with a specially designed Royal Ascot Ladies Day Experience, which will include business networking opportunities with UKGCC member firms and other important stakeholders and will be set up as a high tea garden party.
All earnings from ticket and raffle sales will be contributed to the FUND RAISING COMMITTEE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF GHANA MEDICAL CENTRE (UGMC) MEDICAL AND SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH CENTRE (MSRC).
The gift to the UGMC MSRC Fund Raising Committee is vital, according to UKGCC Executive Director Adjoba Kyiamah, since "now more than ever, we need more clinical studies in our country to assist determine the best therapy for illnesses in our environment."
