Nana Opoku outlined the day's plans, stating that there would be a fundraising event to help brilliant but underprivileged children back home in Ghana in order to bring about the necessary change and create a better world for poor and needy children.

Nana Opoku emphasized that there will be a cultural show and a rich Asante culture to teach youngsters of Asante ancestry about their history and culture.

Nana Opoku claimed that a portion of the monies will be used to help health institutions in the Ahafo and Volta regions, including the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), Manhyia District Hospital, Asante Mampong Government Hospital, and other hospitals.

He went on to say that the Asanteman Europe Association aims to promote cultural activities, unity, social integration, and cultural variety, as well as raise funds for development projects in Europe and Ghana.

Meanwhile, Nana Onipamu Osei Kufour, the Asantemanhene of Holland, said the Asante Traditional Council in Holland is fully prepared to accommodate all dignitaries and invited visitors anticipated to attend the event.

He also promised that the event's attendees will be wowed by the rich Asante culture and exhibition.

Holland Asantemanhemaa, also known as Otumfuo Dampoanohemaa, Nana Ama Serwaa Nyarko Kesewaa, stated that their goal is to teach youngsters about the Asante culture. She also took use of the occasion to extend an invitation to all Ghanaians and Africans living in Europe to join the event in large numbers.

Nana Ekuoba Gyasi Sempremo Gyimah, the Board Chairman of Asanteman Europe and the Asantemanhene for Finland, stated their priority is to promote development in Ghana while also helping to strengthen the capacities of as many people as possible back home.

He added that Asanteman Europe will send hospital equipment and COVID-19 preventative goods to four (4) Ghanaian health institutions in 2020 to help them expand their operations and improve healthcare service.

Ten beds and their accessories, as well as two phototherapy machines, were donated to the Manhyia Hospital; medical overalls, surgical nose masks, gloves, face shields, and cartons of customised bottled water were donated to KATH, the Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research (KCCR), and the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research in Accra, totaling €22,000 Euros.

Nana Gyasi Gyimah, on the other hand, is hopeful that the funding required to help intelligent but impoverished youngsters, as well as other development initiatives, will be generated in the future.
