Two major deals have reportedly taken place today by two English clubs - Leeds United and Newcastle United. Several deals were made in the English Premier League this summer days ago and other potential targets are on the verge of being ahead of the new season, two major deals have reportedly taken place today by two English clubs - Leeds United and Newcastle United.

Leeds United --->>> Rasmus Kristensen

After expressing interest in signing the Red Bull Salzburg winger just a few days ago, Leeds United has now made it a reality following a close call last season. The 24-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the Peacocks, according to a club post.

According to sources, Rasmus Kristensen, who is currently with the Danish national team, cost his previous club Ajax €10 million in 2019. He made 40 appearances for the Austrian Champions in all competitions last season, including the Champions League, when they were defeated by Bayern Munchen in the round of 16 - amassing 8 goals, 3 assists, and 14 clean sheets.

Despite being eligible to compete in the Champions League with Salzburg next season, Rasmus elected to join the English club this summer.

--->>> Matt Targett Newcastle United is a football club based in Newcastle

According to sources, Newcastle United has activated Matt Targett's buy-out clause from league rivals Aston Villa, for a fee of €17.5 million, following a successful six-month loan term.

The 26-year-old was a key member of Eddie Howe's team that improved from last place in the league to 11th place this season, earning him a four-year contract at St James' Park.

Matt appeared in 16 games and had his name written on the winning ticket in 11 of them. Such fantastic outcomes.

Darwin's desire to join Jurgen Klopp's side has been reported in the Portuguese media in recent days, and it was reiterated on Wednesday morning when Record broke the news of Liverpool's proposal.

According to CMTV, the Reds may add players in their offer to persuade Benfica to accept it.

However, there is currently no information about the Eagles' stance on the plan.

If the amounts quoted are correct, and no other club offers a better deal, Liverpool has a good chance of winning.
