Hajia Sawudatu Saeed picks nomination forms to contest NPP Women’s Organiser

National Women’s Organiser hopeful for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Hajia Sawudatu Saeed has picked a nomination form with a solemn pledge to ensure that the welfare of women organisers across the country is prioritised.
She explained that women form the backbone of any grouping that has stood the test of time, stressing that the time has come for women to be given the due recognition and made to play their rightful role especially in governance.
“This is what my term will stand for,” she assured.
Not discounting the works of the previous National Women’s Organiser, Hajia Saeed believes that, together with her other women organisers, more could be done to solidify the fortunes of the party.
“And this can be achieved when the welfare of the team is not regulated to the background.”
To help her achieve her vision, she mentioned the establishment of a Women Wing Welfare fund.
“The fund will help women organisers in need. It will cater for the children of deceased women organisers, a monthly allowance for women organisers, scholarship for their children and an award scheme for hardworking, committed and result oriented organisers.”
She is also promising a vibrant, dynamic, all inclusive leadership that will positively engage regional, constituency and polling station women organisers.
“I will always strive to improve the welfare of every member of the Women’s wing, ensure massive support for the grassroots and empower the young women for fair job distribution, put in effective measures for resource mobilization and fair distribution.”
She also affirmed her commitment to always strive to be honest, reliable and trustworthy and a companion to everyone while being a unifier and avoid deliberate decisions or actions which may either, directly or indirectly cause harm to others life, image, emotions or relationship.
