Following the success of 'G Life,' Sonny continued to work with notable Ghanaian artists, including Mary Agyapong on a popular track called Adede, which means'sweet taboo.'

He also collaborated with other artists, like Slim Buster on the tune 'Georgina,' and Lord Kenya, to mention a few. Sonny moved to England in 2001 to further his musical career.

Sonni Balli hooked up with London-based producer Eugene Nartey and CEO of 'Bad Habbit' labels Bright Okah to begin production on his debut album, 'First Scene Second,' after a few years of networking.

Sonni Balli, a singer, songwriter, poet, and ardent storyteller, combined all of his abilities in his debut album, skillfully balancing the traditional with the contemporary.

His songs were inspired by his personal life experiences as well as his Rastafarian beliefs.
