TRANSFER GOSSIP

It's just been two weeks since the domestic season ended, and international games are still being played, but the transfer gossip mill is well and truly in full swing.

Manchester City have avoided becoming the focus of the summer's biggest transfer controversy by signing Erling Haaland quietly and promptly, allowing them to focus on strengthening other areas of the squad. Last week, City Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak stated that the city wants to complete all of its business as soon as possible, while predicting more incomings.

There could also be departures, with names like Gabriel Jesus, Raheem Sterling, and Bernardo Silva connected to departures. Jesus is the most likely exit, given that two strikers have just arrived and there has been a lot of speculation about his whereabouts.
