PSG centre-back Presnel Kimpembe speaks about the plans for his future amidst interest from Chelsea.
Kimpembe has been a part of the Paris Saint-Germain set-up ever since he was a youth player and finally broke through into the first team in 2015. Since then, the Frenchman has established himself as one of the greatest defenders in Ligue 1 at the time.
Even under Mauricio Pochettino, the 26-year-old has been a rock at the back for the French giants. This season, the brilliant defender has made 41 appearances for the Ligue 1 winners, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in all competitions.
Presnel Kimpembe discusses his future plans in the wake of Chelsea's interest.
For the Blues, Kimpembe is a viable possibility.
Chelsea has been linked with a move for the French defender this summer, and when asked about his future, Kimpembe said:
"Everyone knows how much I like Paris Saint-Germain — and it's mutual." In August, I'll be 27 years old, and it'll be a watershed moment in my career. In terms of the new management, I'm looking forward to meeting with them.
Presnel Kimpembe is a fantastic signing. The Frenchman is a gifted center-back who frequently slips under the radar. If he moves to the Premier League, the 26-year-old has all it takes to become one of the top centre-backs in the world.
The PSG midfielder has a contract with the French club until 2024, and if he wants to leave, PSG might sell him this summer to earn the best possible price. Kimpembe, on the other hand, has been a member of the Parc des Princes youth levels since 2011.
