Barcelona's Sergi Roberto has signed a one-year extension to his contract
Barcelona's Sergi Roberto has marked a one-year expansion to his agreement, with his new arrangement terminating in 2023, the club affirmed on Friday.
"FC Barcelona and Sergi Roberto have agreed to broaden his agreement until 30 June 2023. The player's purchase out proviso will be set at €400 million," Barcelona said in an explanation, depicting the 30-year-old as "Blaugrana totally".
Sergi Roberto has supposedly acknowledged a 60 percent pay slice to remain at Barca. The Spaniard will procure 5 million euros each year, as the club keeps on attempting to lessen its pay bill.
Barcelona's obligations came to €1.3 billion toward the beginning of last season, with nearly €390 million connected with player compensations.
Sergi Roberto is yet to play under Xavi Hernandez at Barca after a hamstring precluded him for most of last season.
In the wake of getting through the young groups at La Masia, Sergi Roberto made his most memorable group debut in 2011 at 19 years old.
