Igbo King urges Ghana government to consider Nigerians in retail exchange

 

The Igbo King in Ghana, His Royal Majesty Eze Igbo Dr. Chukwudi Ihenetu has encouraged the public authority here to resolve modalities to consider Nigerians to participate in the retail exchange saved for the nearby individuals.

 

As per him the obligation of solidarity between the Government of Ghana and that of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is areas of strength for so the need to safeguard it.

 

He underscored that most Nigerians relocate to Ghana to look for greener fields and don't have the monetary fortitude to enlist an organization to exchange the country.

 

He said, "A lot of Nigerians come to Ghana to look for greener fields and it is difficult for them to have plentiful the means to make that statement of 1 million United States Dollars (USD) to the Bank of Ghana and register an organization with 0.5 percent at the Registrar General to set up an organization that has a place with you as an outsider."

 

"I'm consequently begging the Government of Ghana to treat equity with leniency to permit Nigerians in the country to participate in the retail exchange to assist them with getting minimal expenditure to provide food for themselves," Dr. Ihenetu pursued.

 

Area 27(1) of the Ghana Investment Promotion Center (GIPC) Act, Act 2013, denies outsiders from taking part in the retail exchange.

 

In spite of this arrangement, a lot of Nigerians who have relocated to significant towns in Ghana including Accra, Kumasi and others are taken part in the retail business held for local people.

 

This has brought about different conflicts between local people and the outsiders with the previous contending they are being moved bankrupt by the exiles.

 

There have been a progression of commitment coordinated by the Ghanaian government and the brokers however the issue appears to be not to be finished.
