Nations League Golden Boot Table after Mbappe scored a goal
The Nations League continued today with France traveling to Austria in search of their first win of the season. Austria, on the other side, was looking to get back on the winning track after losing to Denmark in their previous encounter.
This game would also provide an opportunity for Karim Benzema, France's striker, to add to his goal tally in the competition, as well as Kylian Mbappe, France's winger, to open his goal account in the competition.
Unfortunately for France, Austria took the lead in the 37th minute when Weimann found the back of the net. Mbappe comes off the bench in the second half to tie the score. Following that, neither team was able to take the lead, and they were forced to settle for a point each.
Meanwhile, after Mbappe scored a goal and Benzema was unable to score in today's game, this is how the competition's top scorers appear.
