US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has emphasized that the US will remain by its partners and accomplices in the Asia Pacific as he blamed China for "provocative and weakening" military action around Taiwan, and an undeniably "coercive and forceful" way to deal with its far reaching sea claims in the Asia Pacific.

In an almost drawn out address to the Shangri-La Dialog in Singapore, Austin focused on that the US was focused on the "rules-based global request" and would work in organization to keep up with harmony and soundness in the locale.

He said that the US strategy over Taiwan, a self-decided island that Beijing claims similar to possess, continued as before. "Our strategy hasn't transformed," he told delegates at the security gathering. "However, tragically it doesn't appear to be no different for the PRC [People's Republic of China].

"The PRC moves take steps to sabotage harmony and soundness. That isn't simply a US interest, it's a question of global concern."

Austin's remarks came a day after he had his most memorable eye to eye converses with his Chinese partner Wei Fenghe, in which Wei repeated China's readiness to do battle to keep Taiwan from becoming free. Beijing has expanded its tactical exercises around the island as of late, consistently sending forays into Taiwan's air guard ID zone, including 30 planes toward the finish of May.

Austin likewise repeated worry about Beijing's undeniably self-assured approach in the East China Sea and South China Sea — regions where he said Beijing was more "coercive and forceful" in its assurance to push forward its oceanic cases.

He focused on that the US would keep up with its "dynamic presence" across the Asia Pacific. "We will fly, sail and work any place global regulation permits, and we will do this close by our accomplices."

"Let me get straight to the point, we don't look for a showdown or struggle," he added.

"We don't look for another Cold War, an Asian NATO or a locale split into unfriendly coalitions… [but] we will safeguard our inclinations without jumping."
