The Ghana National Gas Company has reviewed current developments in Accra's Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency.
The inspection team from the Gas Company is going to do this to see how far the work has progressed so far.
The inspection crew began their journey at the Ghana James Camp Prisons in Airport West, where a completely standardized astro-turf is being built.
According to Robert Coleman, the contractor for the Wembley Sports Complex, the project is roughly 80-85 percent complete.
The project will be finished with fencing, floodlights, a field, a parking lot, and other amenities. "We've installed all of the pipes beneath the park to drain all of the water and prevent floods when it rains."
"The park is ready to get its final leveling," he added.
The James Camp Prisons were erected in 1948 and haven't had an uniform astro-turf since, until the current one being developed by Ghana Gas.
Within two months, the job will be done.
The crew evaluated an 11-aside astro-turf that is 90% complete at Okaikoi South Municipal Assembly. The contractor said that they just had a few finishing touches to complete because they would be leveling the area with cemented sand before placing the carpet. It will feature floodlights, a fence, a school playing field, and a pitch when it is finished.
The floodlights have been repaired and will be turned on next month.
Samuel T. Mormor, the sub-metro director, informed Ghana Gas of their dedication and cooperation in ensuring the project's success in their region.
Ghana Gas is constructing an international grade hockey surface in Legon that will be able to accommodate both African and international events.
The project will include floodlights, energy farms to power the lights, change rooms, fencing, and a pitch, among other things.
The contractor stated that the project, which began in January, is proceeding well and would be ready for commissioning soon.
All of the pipes, as well as the drainage system, have already been installed.
The crew went to Legon, where Ghana Gas is constructing a 6-unit classroom complex for the lower primary school at the University Staff Village School.
Tatraco Company Limited yß6dd has submitted a bid to perform the project in the six months allotted.
