Monaco is one of the most successful European clubs in terms of player sales in football history. They sold Kylian Mbappe to Paris Saint-Germain for a world record 180 million euros a few years ago. However, Monaco has completed the sale of Aurelien Tchouameni for 80 million Euros, with add-ons potentially raising the price to 100 million Euros. After Mbappe's departure in the 2018/19 season, Tchouameni's agreement made him the club's second most costly departure.
Monaco has sold five of their players for a total of at least 60 million euros. The players in question are Kylian Mbappe, Aurelien Tchouameni, Rodriguez, Lemar, and Anthony Martial. Tchouameni, on the other hand, will be the second Monaco player sold to Real Madrid for at least 75 million euros. The first player was Rodriguez, a Colombian professional who did not perform as expected. Tchouameni, on the other hand, will have to work hard if he wants to avoid being banished to the bench at Real Madrid, as Rodriguez did.
Monaco finished third in the Ligue 1 table in 2022/22, qualifying for the UEFA Champions League play-offs in 2022/23. If they want to compete in the champions league next season, they'll need to find a successor for Aurelien. Premier League clubs, on the other hand, are Monaco Player's most devoted customers. They were responsible for the departure of six of the most expensive players in Monaco's history.
Youri Tielemans, Bakayoko, Fabinho, Mendy, and Bernardo Silva are among the other players on the list of Monaco's most costly exits. The majority of these players are top performers in Europe's top five leagues, with at least one silverware in the 2021/22 season.
Tchouameni, on the other hand, is currently a member of the French national squad, which is competing in the UEFA Nations League. Do you believe Tchouameni will have a good career in Spain?
