Tema, June 11, CDA Consult - The Tema West Municipal Assembly (TWMA) is to establish 5,000 trees as a component of the 2022 Green Ghana Tree Planting Campaign Ms Anna Adukwei Addo, the Tema West Municipal Chief Executive has expressed.
As a feature of the command, the Assembly established a few seedlings around The Place Restaurant at Baatsona and at the Sakumono TWMA Junior High School where coconut trees were planted.
Ms Addo expressed that the get-together was working in a joint effort with the Forestry Commission, Educational Director, Regional Coordination Council, and different partners to assist with the venture, the Communication for Development and Advocacy Consult (CDA Consult) has accumulated.
She said it is the Assembly's liability to guarantee that the plants develop well and that with help from the Agriculture office, ecological, and disinfection group.
"Trees are critical in our lives hence we should make it a highlight develop them and I accept we can make this venture work when we cooperate. There would be steady observing after we have effectively established every one of the seedlings and it won't be only a one-day show.

Ms Addo noticed that the Tema West Municipal Assembly joined the Green Ghana Tree Planting effort which was a drive by the public authority to establish 20 million seedlings in the nation over this year.
She described that around 60% of the trees established last year in the district endure adding that others that didn't were because of the unforgiving atmospheric conditions however had been supplanted.
