With Antonio Rudiger joining Real Madrid as one of the top centre-backs available, the left-back position should be the least of Madrid's concerns. The transfer suggests that David Alaba could be moved to the left, leaving Rudiger and Militao as the unrivaled centre-back duo. In my perspective, this is exactly as it should be. Militao is far too important to be benched, and while Alaba is an excellent centre-back, his offensive talents make him ideal for the left-back position.

Furthermore, Real Madrid already has one of the top left-backs on the planet. This season, Ferland Mendy was perhaps the best defensive fullback in the world. The word 'defensive' is highlighted. The fact that a player of his caliber could be benched next season says everything about the club's healthy left-back situation.
Miguel Gutierrez is also an intriguing prospect who has previously shown flashes of brilliance when given the chance.
As I have stated, a left-back should be at the bottom of Real Madrid's priority list. Regardless, various publications have linked Los Blancos to a number of prospects. If the club does decide to hire a new left-back, there are a few viable candidates on the market.

Garcia, Fran
Out of all of the possibilities, this is the most likely. Garcia, who used to play for Castilla, is now with Rayo Vallecano. Since that outstanding defensive effort at Camp Nou, where he was instrumental in Rayo's historic 0-1 win over Barcelona, he has been extensively linked with Real Madrid.
Real Madrid will sign Fran Garcia, according to Sergio Santos, if a defensive player leaves this summer. If not, he will remain at Rayo and join in 2023, assuming that he continues to grow. Real Madrid does not appear to have any departures planned at the moment.
With Rayo Vallecano, he started 34 games and had a decent season. His performances, on the other hand, raise serious concerns about the offensive front, since he only has one goal and zero assists in 34 games. In terms of offensive profile, he's identical to Mendy.
Overall, his signature couldn't harm. He isn't expecting to be in the starting lineup, and he isn't exactly cheap. That's not even taking into account his enormous potential.
Sergio Reguilon (Sergio Reguilon)

Adding another La Fabrica alum to the list, though his signing is unlikely and, well, impractical. In the 2018/19 season, the Spaniard broke into the first team and quickly established himself at left back.
It's safe to say he and Vinicius were the season's only bright spots. Sergio made every effort to persuade us that he would be the one to carry on Marcelo's legacy at Real Madrid.
That was until the next season, when the club bought Ferland Mendy for a record 48 million Euros. Reguilon was forced to go on loan to Sevilla, a move that seemed incomprehensible at the time. Sergio joined Spurs on a five-year deal worth up to 32 million pounds the following season, probably as a result of Mendy's outstanding initial season at Real Madrid.
Regardless, I don't believe Real Madrid and Reguilon's narrative will finish anytime soon; I believe they will meet paths again, and it will be sooner than one might expect. However, this move will be complicated beyond this season, as Real Madrid has a buyback clause of roughly 40 million euros available this season.
Furthermore, Reguilon is generating a lot of buzz this summer. Barcelona, like many other elite European clubs, is keeping a careful eye on him.
Going for Sergio this summer does not make financial or sporting sense, but I have a soft place for him and would not question the club's judgment if they do.

I simply had to include a name that isn't well-known among fans but ought to be. Malacia has been a Feyenoord player since he was nine years old. He caught my eye because of my recent interest in Dutch football, and he's an exciting prospect. The 22-year-old is under contract until 2024, but Real Madrid would not need to spend a fortune to sign him. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is roughly 17 million euros.
He makes progressive runs with the ball on a regular basis, has excellent positional awareness, and runs at a breakneck rate. He has the ideal combination of offensive and defense, which is precisely what you'd want from a fullback.
Even at his young age, he has the potential to be one of the top full-backs in the world.
Malacia is currently unconnected to Real Madrid on any level. Juni Calafat's eye for talent, on the other hand, wouldn't take long for him to recognize his own potential.
Regardless, he requires consistent game action at this age and with the talent he offers. He'd never get it at Real Madrid, no matter how talented he is.

From a sports and economical standpoint, I believe going the Fran Garcia approach makes the most sense. I'd rather see the club make a significant investment in a right-back, a position in critical need of improvement.
