Shay Logan, who played one Premier League match for Manchester City in 2009, was caught on camera in a violent late-night street brawl outside an Aberdeen takeaway.
Shay Logan was caught on camera in a brawl.
Shay Logan, a former Manchester City defender, was caught on camera fighting with another man outside a chip shop.
Logan is best known for his time in Aberdeen from 2014 to 2021, when he also played for Brentford. And it was in the Scottish city that the incident between Logan and another man was caught on camera.
Onlookers who were filming the brawl can be heard cheering for Logan, and his name is uttered several times. The man Logan was brawling with was knocked to his knees before other bystanders intervened to separate the two.
Logan captioned an Instagram photo of his face with the phrase "talk s*** get banged" on Sunday.
Cove Rangers, Logan's current employers, have been contacted for comment.
Logan isn't the only Scottish celebrity to be dogged by controversy.
He was investigated by the club in 2020 while working as a part-time plumber for the Dons for abusing another plumber. "I've lived a life you can only dream of thanks to my work, P.S you're a c***," a message that surfaced during the claims said.
Logan had received backlash the year before when he dressed up as Celtic's Scott Brown for a stag weekend in Tenerife.
The confrontation between the two men was finally stopped by onlookers.
On Sunday, Shay Logan said on Instagram, "talk s*** get banged."
Logan began his childhood career with Man City, and he has one Premier League appearance under his belt, which he earned in 2009 when he played the entire 90 minutes against Portsmouth.
Last summer, the Englishman joined Cove Rangers in the Scottish Championship, and he has since made 20 appearances for the club, where he is still playing.
