The General overseer of the Christ Embassy Church Pastor Chris has set tongues rolling on social media after a video of his Sunday sermon went viral if he revealed masturbation is not a sin. Masturbation is a way of s3xually pleasing ones self to acquire s3xual satisfaction.
While most people are in the debate of whether masturbation is a sin or not, the renowned pastor has revealed his take and stands with the multitude that masturbation is no sin. In his words he revealed the following;
“If your hand is causing you to sin, chop it off, according to the Bible.” In the Bible, Jesus explains sin in this way. Right now, you must ask yourself: Can your hands or eyes cause you to make a mistake? Not! What causes you to sin, according to Jesus, is what comes out of you, not what goes into you. Remember that the disciples didn’t grasp what Jesus was saying at the time.
Once the apostles questioned him, Jesus reminded them that everything that emerges from your heart is a sin. Now the issue is, where is the real sin? Matthew 15:19 states, “Out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, fornication, theft, lying, and slander” (New Living Translation).
“This suggests that adultery with your body is only a manifestation of your heart’s desires, not a true sin.” True sin can only be found in the heart. Your eyes can’t make you sin since you don’t have a mind of your own. “Evil thoughts are born from the heart.”
This in-depth knowledge revealed by the man of God has earned him so many backlashes as some users accused him of deception, and others also agreed it might be because of such act his wife divorced him. The topic of masturvation is becoming one of the popular topics as most people living in today's era tends to find themselves in such situation.
