Sam George Explains Why He Is Fighting For LGBTQI+ Rights
Ningo-Prampram MP Sam Nartey George has been speaking about why he has been trying to ensuring that LGBTQI+ people are not supported in Ghana.
Ghana, he claims, cannot utilize its limited resources to suture a homosexual's lower gastrointestinal tract.
He can't understand why the government would spend so much money on a homosexual when the same money could be used to aid vulnerable pregnant women and children who really need it.
"It bothers me when they try to educate my child [how gays should act] by telling him to stay in his room and do whatever he wants.
"If you're sick, don't go to our hospital because the money the government would spend on sending you there will be wasted." "The money spent on pregnant women's care will be spent on you in sewing your 'torn' anus," Sam George stated on the Delay program.
The MP is convinced that the Bill will be put into law, regardless of how long it is delayed in Parliament, to avoid Ghana from facing such sacrilege.
If the Chairman of the Constitutional and Legal Affairs Committee, Kwame Ayimadu Antwi, continues to postpone the passing of the Anti-LGBT Bill, the Minority in Parliament has vowed to obstruct the presentation of any bill by the Executive.
Muntaka Mubarak, the Minority Chief Whip, accused the Chairman of purposefully delaying the passage of the Anti-LGBTQI Measure; as a result, the Minority Group would continue to oppose every bill that comes before the House.

He stated that the Chairman should have passed the bill through the proper processes.
"I can promise you that any other law submitted in the House would be met with opposition, even if it is to give water," said Muntaka Mubarak, the Minority Chief Whip.
