Names of all the 50 NPP individuals who have gotten structures for leader positions
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has declared that it would go for its yearly public representatives meeting to choose public leaders for the party from Friday, July 15, to Sunday, July 17, 2022.
This followed the endorsement of the party's National Council at its gathering on May 12, 2022.
A report delivered and endorsed by the General Secretary of the party, John Boadu, demonstrated that the standards and guidelines of the decisions are in accordance with Article 18 of the NPP's constitution, which gives rules to the party's tasks at all levels.
"Compliant with Section17(2) of the Political Parties Law, Act 574, which gives that the appointment of National, Regional and Constituency Officers of each and every ideological group will be led under the oversight of the Electoral Commission, the National Elections will be directed by the Electoral Commission of Ghana," portions of the assertion read.
While there have been open interests shown by various individuals for the different leader positions, the Daily Guide paper has detailed that a sum of 50 individuals have gotten selection structures for positions in the party.
The report added the structures were either picked for or for the people who have communicated interest in different arrangement of the NPP.
Observe that the different spaces are for the National Chairman, National Vice Chairman, General Secretary, National Treasurer, National Organizer, National Women's Organizer, National Youth Organizer, and National Nasara Coordinator.
"On the whole, seven individuals picked selections to run for the National Chairperson position, while 10 individuals picked structures for the National Vice Chairperson position, and six picked structures to run for the General Secretary position," the report said.
Likewise, all hopefuls paid a non-refundable selection expense in a specific order:
Public Chairperson: GH¢20,000
Public Vice Chairperson: GH¢15,000
General Secretary: GH¢10,000
Any remaining positions: GH¢8,000
Unique Wings (Youth, Women and Nasara): GH¢6,000
