Mr. John Boadu, the National Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party, has stated that his hands are clean and would remain clean in order to stay in his position as Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party.
Mr. Boadu said that over the years, the delegates have helped him justify why they endorsed him four years ago as their substantive Secretary after he acted and delivered very well at a time when the party was facing crisis. He was speaking to delegates in the northern Regional Capital Tamale, Bimbila Constituency, Yendi, and other areas to seek their votes in the upcoming National Delegates Conference scheduled for July 15-17 in Accra.
According to the NPP Chief Scribe, there is no manner or any day since he acted and also became the substantive Secretary that he has done anything to smear or pull the NPP's reputation down. He pledged that he would continue to preserve and defend the party's reputation at all times.
"I've never done anything to embarrass or humiliate the party. Never!!!. However, some people do not deserve to come to you to seek your vote for power or to hold any position in the party if you look at where they work or their track records."
But John Boadu has stood by the Party through thick and thin, and nothing has been done to put the Party in disrepute. He went on to say that delegates should vote for Aspirants or Politicians they can trust at any moment to continue allowing the party to work for them, rather than unknown candidates with no track record.
He asserts that the Secretary job is not for regular individuals, but rather for experienced and competent persons who have fought to justify the position throughout their careers.
To top it off, all of the Northern Region's Constituency Executives have pledged their entire support and endorsement to the Chief Scribe.
