Manchester City is a Premier League club based in England.

Erling Haaland claims he already feels "at home" at Manchester City and admits that when watching them this season, he envisaged himself leading the line for Pep Guadriola's side.

Following the final of Norway's Nations League matches on Sunday night, Haaland's £51 million move from Borussia Dortmund to the Etihad was ultimately made official on Monday morning.

His father, Alf-Inge, signed for City in 2000, and the 21-year-old is following in his footsteps.

City fought out a number of Europe's elite teams, including Real Madrid and Chelsea, to recruit perhaps Europe's best young talent, and when asked why he selected Manchester, Haaland said: "First and foremost, my father a little bit." I was born in England, have been a City supporter my entire life, and am well-versed in the club's history.

I'm starting to feel at ease here, and I believe City will help me develop and improve my game.

City have been looking for a striker since the end of Sergio Aguero's career, and they were unsuccessful in their attempt to sign Harry Kane when the Argentine departed the club last summer.

Guardiola's side won their fourth Premier League title in five seasons despite the lack of a standout centre-forward, but it is anticipated that Haaland's signing can ultimately help them win the Champions League.

"Yes, I have and it's going to be good," Haaland said on the club's website when asked if he had imagined himself on City's team when watching them play.

Despite their financial difficulties, the Catalans remain linked with a number of high-profile targets in the transfer market heading into the summer.

Bernardo Silva, a midfielder for Manchester City, is one such transfer target for the Catalans. The 27-year-old had a fantastic season with the Citizens in 2021-22, playing a key role in their Premier League title success.

The Catalans are willing to spend €70 million for the Premier League midfielder who was named team of the season.

For his achievements with the champions, Bernardo Silva was voted the best midfielder in the Premier League Team of the Season. However, as the summer approaches, he is being linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium.

Manager Pep Guardiola was believed to be willing to sanction a sale if a good bid came in last month. The English champions, on the other hand, are wanting £80 million (€94 million) for Silva, making life difficult for the Catalans.

However, according to Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan giants will be unable to fulfill that price this summer. Given the club's financial difficulties, it's not surprising that the €94 million estimate is excessive.
